1 cup real butter
1 cup sugar
2 Tbls water
4 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate, shaved
Grated pecans or walnuts
Cook in heavy pan, stir constantly at a rolling boil for several minutes until brown (starts smoking). Pour onto a sheet of foil and spread to 1/4 inch thick with spoon. While it is still hot spread chocolate over and sprinkle nuts on top. Break into candy size pieces.
